Components description of double layer roofing panel roll forming machine


Machine's Feature: One machine can make two kinds of profile. Client's profile available. 

1.High Accuracy Shaft

Solid shafts dia. 72mm.

Solid steel shafts are being tooling twice with grinding machine to ensure final precision. Guarantee buyer get high accuracy sheet from Zhongyuan made machine.


2.No.45 Steel processed by CNC machine

CNC machine can improve rollers precision. 


3.Design bearings inside forming rollers

Design bearing inside the rollers to make machine run with less loading so that rollers not easy to damage.

Ensure the same speed between the rollers, no speed difference between rollers, improve the forming accuracy.

Bearings are helping to prolong machine life.


4.Main machine body

The main frame of machine is welded separately and the outside wall is connected by screw after being rotoblasted on the surface.

Panting the oil paint to prevent it rust.

Make it smooth on the surface by planer milling machine so that can ensure all the wall plate can be installed in the same level and help to improve machine precision.

Machine frame made from H400 type steel by welding

Side wall thickness: 235Mpa

Main Motor=7.5kw

All the screw bolts with grade 8.8(Some other factories use low grade4.8) to ensure fix the machine structure tightly and long life during the machine long time running.

Forming speed :30m/min. 


5.Automatic Flying Cutting

1)  Adopts post cutting, no stop cutting; 

2)  The cutting blade material is Cr12mov. with quenched treatment.

3)  Cutting frame has been heat treatment to avoid final product deformation. cutting length tolerance ±2mm.

4)  Servo motor power: 7KW, transportation motor:0.37X2KW.

5)  The final product can be cut as per set length in PLC controller, and the length is automatically measured by encoder.  When final product reaches the set length, machine will stop to cut the product automatically. Finish this action, machine will run again continuously.  

6)  Weight is 1800kgs.

7)  Length is 3400mm. 


6.Hydraulic station

1)  It supplies the power for the hydraulic cutter.

2)  All hydraulic accessories are all use Chinese famous brand products.

3)  Hydraulic motor power: about 5.5KW


7.PLC Control System:

1) This system uses Mitsubishi PLC to control the all working actions. Production quantity and each piece length will be automatically measured. It is convenient to control the roll forming machine.

2) Mitsubishi converter adjusts speed technology, realize the automatic production.

3)  Touch screen is input and canceled the working data.

4)  Friendly man-machine interface system can be set batches to the workpiece, length, quantity, etc.

5)  Encoder count, having function of count and measuring length.

6)  Suitable power voltage:440V/60HZ/3Phase (can be designed according to buyer’s requirement)


8.Product Rack (powered transmission ):

1)  They are used to put the final product when product coming out from cutting device.

2)  Two pieces, Each piece length is 1.5m, total length is 3 meters.

3)  Collect the final product and final products is convenient to be stacked by workers.

4)  Power is 0.37X2 kw
